Happiness is a Single Origin long black

high school confidential Happiness is a Single Origin long black

The truly amazing gang down at Single Origin on Reservoir Street in Surry Hills not only provide some of the best coffee in Sydney (and possibly in this quadrant of the galaxy), they do so with a joie de vivre that would make Santa sound gloomy.

To celebrate another year of exceptional operation, come join Gavin and the rest of the team for their Christmas party at Single Origin on Friday 19th December (yes, that’s tomorrow!) between 7am-9am.

As if the draw of amazing coffee, delicious banana bread and wonderful passionate people wasn’t enough, there’s also going to be a band of Gypsy musicians playing live on the back of a flatbed truck.

See you all there bright and early :-)

Awww, I'm really sad that I missed it. Sweltering Singapore and snowy Switzerland made up for it somewhat but I'm still going to make sure I'll be at next years - and of course at the weeklies from January.

Lovely to meet you at SO Tweetup yesterday, I also blogged about it here:

Look forward to your film of the event - I have to say, although I only met about 6 people, it was an incredible event - made all the more enjoyable by the "calm under pressure" demeanours of Gav, Nick and Anna and team: I mean, Nick even brought out my takeway coffee out to me on the street! This just doesn't happen at other cafes. Not to mention the Bircher muesli with fruit salad - just right, and of course the coffee does not disappoint.

I cannot wait for the next Social Media Coffee event. And I love your Casio Data Bank watch!

    Cheers

  • Most. Fun. Ever.

I shot about 30 minutes of film, so when I've had a chance to edit it down I'l have it up here for all to see.

If you were there, you might recognise yourself. If you missed it, you'll curse yourself and make sure you're at the next one.
